A large Grade II listed hideaway, dog friendly and nestled in the heart of Beaumaris
Beau Cottage welcomes you cheerfully through its newly painted door – drawing you into a hallway that anchors a parade of reception rooms bursting with artwork and treasured objects. The dining room draws you in to sit at a vast dining table or gather round its inglenook fireplace in plump armchairs. Snuggle up on the window seats and grab a book from the bookshelves groaning with books galore.
As the fire crackles away, pop through to the oak beamed kitchen to check on dinner and top your glass up with a few more bubbles. Wander through another hall, where there is plenty of space for coats and boots, to the garden where the sun shines, herbs grow and all is quiet.
Through another door you will find a large shower room ready to wash those sandy toes. With a handy utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer next door, this house makes your life very easy.
The staircase sweeps up to the incredibly elegant bedrooms on the first floor, with views of the garden and street. The traditional main bedroom, with a king sized bed is set against old oak panelling and has an en-suite shower room and soft towels.
Next door sits a cosy twin bedroom decorated in luxurious fabrics and its own pretty washstand. Another magnificent king size bedroom, with washstand, sits next door with calm colours and striped curtains to compliment the bed made up with fine linens and feather pillows.
The family bathroom is fully tiled and has a welcoming shower over a sumptuous deep bath.
Finally, up in the eaves, the second floor was made for children with its imaginative den landing clustered with bean bags and cushions, a DVD player and lots of books to while away the hours of freedom. Sleep like logs in two peaceful bedrooms, both with twin beds and pretty fabrics at the windows, smooth white cotton on deep mattresses and incredible views over the rooftops.
